A 23-year-old from the local area was given a 27-week prison sentence, deferred for 12 months, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.

As stated by police officials, the video was captured at an unauthorized car meet in Portsmouth on 28 December 2024, featuring the individual driving a distinctive colored vehicle.

An officer commented: “Local people, motorists and our traffic officers have had enough with these groups of motorists thoughtlessly occupying streets and parking areas and we refuse to accept it.”
The officer continued: “These events are not only a complete nuisance, but they also place participants and innocent bystanders at danger of serious injury.”
The statement concluded: “We will continue to prosecute these drivers and I trust these latest incidents act as a caution: you won’t get away with it.”
