AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving

In a surprising partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
